One has to confirm this spring is very fortunate for NAMU. On May 28, 2015 Citibank announced NAMU’s revolutionary solution has won “TOP INNOVATION BEST USER EXPERIENCE” in Citi Mobile Challenge EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, Africa). Following receipt of the award, NAMU has a unique opportunity to explore a commercial relationship with Citi and potentially scale the solution to the bank’s clients worldwide. The NAMU’s cutting-edge mobile banking platform was presented during the Citi Mobile Challenge Warsaw Demo Day in April, as one of the competition’s finalists. The idea of “Joyful banking”, which NAMU is promoting, was highly evaluated and warmly discussed during the event.

Numerous teams presented concepts to Citi executives and technology influencers at Demo Days held this spring in London, Warsaw, Jerusalem and Nairobi. Entries were appraised on their solutions’ impact, viability, user experience and functionality by an assembly of international judges.

Speaking from the stage, Heather Cox, Chief Client Experience, Digital and Marketing Officer for Global Consumer Banking at Citi said the organizers had received more than 740 applications across 101 countries for this competition. The quality of the ideas had been exceptional and they had seen a tremendous variety of solutions at Demo Days. Heather added these developers could help transform banking and fuel progress across other industries.

The NAMU social mobile platform is a multiple award-winning solution. The prize granted by Citi is NAMU’s second in a row to be received in May 2015 and follows the title of “Best of Show” acquired from the audience of a fintech conference FinovateSpring 2015 in Silicon Valley.
